RELEASE NOTES CAB PLAN FEBRUARY 2021

In the CAB Plan version for February, you will find several improvements and new functions. For example, we have made it easier to re-plan jobs and added the option of adding a reason for changing the customer delivery date.

After reading, you will be able to access the Release Notes in CABAS by clicking on the “Release information” icon in the top right corner in the top menu bar.

CAB Plan: Copy information

It is now possible to copy certain information from the work order, which can then be pasted into other systems. The information that can be copied is the registration number as well as customer and repair notes. Copying is performed by right-clicking on the information and selecting “Copy”.

CAB Plan: Automatic generation of work order numbers

You can now let CAB Plan create a unique work order number for the work order. This is activated by selecting “Automatic work order number” in the organisation settings. A new work order number will then be created for each new work order. If the work order number is already included in an estimate that is linked to the work order, that information will be used in the first instance.

CAB Plan: New information on the start page

The information on the CAB Plan start page has been expanded to make it possible to see how many technicians have a registered absence and also how many technicians do not currently have an ongoing job.

At the request of our users, the information “Ready for delivery” has also been changed so that you can see all the vehicles that are ready for delivery and not just those that have been completed today.

CAB Plan: Improved job filtering in the process flow

If you create a filter where you want to show work orders with a certain status for a certain department or resource, only those cases that have that particular status for that department or resource will now be displayed. For example, you might want to see all the cases that are ongoing in the paint department. Previously, all work orders were shown where a job was in progress and where there was also a job booked or planned at the paint department.

The status “Interrupted” has also been added as a separate selection. Previously, all interrupted jobs were displayed if the status “Pause” was selected.

CAB Plan: Add a reason for changing the customer delivery date

If you change the customer’s promised delivery date in a work order, you will be able to choose the reason why the date has been changed. You can either choose one of the predefined reasons or choose “Other” and then write a comment yourself.

The fact that this date has been changed in a work order can be seen from an icon that appears by the date in the work order and in the process flow. If you click on the icon, you can see the changes that have been made historically.

It is also possible to create a report containing all date changes made during a particular period, if you wish to receive statistics for this. This report can be exported as a CSV file for use in Excel.

CAB Plan: New filter in planning to show where all previous jobs are completed

In the previous release, a filter was added to the planning view that showed jobs where the previous job had been completed. On request, we have added another filter that shows jobs where all previous jobs are completed.

CAB Plan: Easier to re-plan jobs

If there are already ongoing jobs in a work order, it is now easy to book or reschedule remaining jobs. To do this, you select a new date in the calendar from when the remaining jobs are to be booked or planned, and then click on the “Search and book” or “Search and plan” button. All jobs that are placed after the most recent job to have been started will then be booked or rescheduled.
