Release Notes CAB Plan May

In the CAB Plan version for May, we have made a number of changes in CAB Plan.

After reading, you will be able to access the Release Notes in CAB Plan by clicking on the “Release information” icon in the top right corner in the top menu bar.

CAB Plan: Time stamping is now to be done in CAB Repair

After this release of CAB Plan, it will no longer be possible to stamp jobs on the technician page. On the technician page, you will now find a link that opens CAB Repair. The same username and password are used to log in to both CAB Plan and CAB Repair. If you are an administrator, it is in CAB Repair that presence and time stamps are adjusted or removed.

CAB Plan: VIN code is transferred from CAB Damage Inspection Booking

If you have vehicle identification via a national vehicle register activated in CAB Damage Inspection Booking, the VIN code will automatically be added to the CAB Plan workorder.

CAB Plan: Rental car copy

When booking a rental car in CAB Plan, you can now receive a copy of the booking that is sent to the rental car company. In the settings for rental car companies, you enter the email address where you want the copy to be sent.

CAB Plan: Warning if dates for the rental car booking do not conform with the repair booking

If the dates for the rental car booking do not match the dates for the repair, a warning is displayed in the workorder. It is the same type of warning that is also displayed for courtesy vehicles. This will make it easier to remember to rebook the rental car if the repair has been rebooked.

CAB Damage Inspection Booking: Settings for tire type and picture on tire added

In CAB Damage inspection Booking, it is now possible to activate tire type and also upload a picture of one of the tires. The selectable tire types are summer tires, winter tires and winter tires with studs.

CAB Plan: Update to 64-bit client

Starting with this release, CAB Plan is updated to a 64-bit application. We do this to improve the performance and reliability of the system.

To run the 64-bit version of CAB Plan, your operating system must support 64-bit applications. A 32-bit version is still included in the installation if you run into problems, you can find it by searching for "CSP (32bit)" on your computer.
