Release Notes CAB Plan February

In the CAB Plan version for February, we have made a number of changes in CAB Plan.

After reading, you will be able to access the Release Notes in CAB Plan by clicking on the “Release information” icon in the top right corner in the top menu bar.

CAB Plan: New confirmation to the customer when booking a damage inspection

A new confirmation when booking a damage inspection has been added. Since before, there is a reminder that is sent for a booked damage inspection. Now you can also choose to send a booking confirmation when an appointment is booked. In the organization settings, you can create a template with the desired information and choose whether the SMS should be sent when the booking is made or if it should be sent manually.

If the booking confirmation is activated, it is visible in the work order among the other activated send-outs. Should there be multiple future damage inspection bookings, you will be able to choose which booking the confirmation is meant for when you send the confirmation manually by clicking on the icon with an arrow.

CAB Plan: Updating information from the estimate

You now have the option to choose which information from the estimate you want to update in the workorder. The function will be enabled from the start in the organization settings and can be deactivated if you want the workorder to always be updated when the estimate is changed.

The updated information from the estimate is presented in a window where you can choose which information to update. Should there be multiple estimates connected to the work order, the information from all of them will be displayed in the window.

At the request of our customers, we have once again made it possible to move an appointment by drag and drop in the calendar, in an open workorder.

CAB Plan: Automatic archiving of old work orders

Work orders that have not been opened in 12 months are automatically archived. We will change the time frame to 9 months. The reason for this is that many users have work orders that have not been given the status of “Delivered to customer” even though the vehicle is no longer in the workshop. This contributes to impaired application performance.

Whether the work order has been filed manually or automatically, it is always possible to find it again by searching for delivered work orders.
