RELEASE NOTES FEBRUARY 2022

There are no visible changes in the CAB Plan version for the month of February. Instead, we have been working to resolve problems reported by our users. A great deal of work has been done to prepare the system prior to the transfer to a new operating platform. This will take place in an additional release, which will happen in early March. In connection with this, there will be planned downtime.

Additional release with planned downtime in March 2022

Between 18.00 on Friday 4 March and 23.59 on 6 March 2022, CAB will be carrying out extensive maintenance work that will affect most of our services in the automotive area, including CAB Plan. As a result, these services will be unavailable during this time. Read more about the stoppage here: https://cabgroup.se/release-notes-csp/rn-csp-2022/csp-go-to-cloud/planned-downtime.html Länk till annan webbplats.

We are also delighted to be able to launch an entirely new application, CAB Plan Repair, which can be used for time registration of repair jobs. This web-based application makes it possible to perform time registration using a mobile phone, tablet or computer.

After reading, you will be able to access the Release Notes in CABAS by clicking on the “Release information” icon in the top right corner in the top menu bar.

Summary, Release Notes, February

CAB Plan: We are launching CAB Plan Repair!

CAB Plan Repair – a web-based solution for time registration of repair jobs

A completely new web-based application, CAB Plan Repair, is now available for time registration of repair jobs. In this, we have gathered all the functionality and information technicians need to be able to carry out their assignments. The fact that the application is web-based means that it is possible to use a mobile phone, tablet or computer for time registration.

Of course, there is also the option of signing items in the digital checklist – something that has been in high demand in a mobile solution.

One new area of functionality is that it is now possible to partially time register paint jobs. This allows you to see that two out of three parts are painted and complete, for example. Another new feature is that a technician can opt to take over a job completely that has been assigned to someone else. The job does not need to be rescheduled in CAB Plan first, which was previously the case.

The existing mobile solution – the TimeTracker app – will not be functional after the 5th of March.
