Release Notes CABAS September 2021
The September release of CABAS involves only a few changes in functionality. The updates mainly relate to features “under the hood”, such as bug fixes, stability improvements and future-proofing of the platform. A great deal of work has also been devoted to preparing the update of Surface alignment, which is planned for the November release.
After reading, you will be able to access the Release Notes in CABAS by clicking on the “Release information” icon in the top right corner in the top menu bar.

CABAS: Clarified information about handling time at the insurance companies when opting for “Manual handling”
We have added an information text to the “Send calculation” dialogue window, which appears when the user chooses to send the calculation for manual handling.
Our aim with this information message is to point out that the choice “Send the calculation for manual handling” leads to a longer processing time at the insurance companies compared to sending the calculation directly (without checking the checkbox).
CABAS: VIN/chassis number check is now disabled when calculations are performed with “Other model” selected.
The system has previously always carried out a check to ensure that the input VIN/chassis number meets the standard requirements. This could be perceived as disruptive when the user wanted to calculate a model that does not have a VIN/chassis number.
To make the workflow during the calculation easier, we have disabled this check in this release when a model from the “Other model” tab has been selected.
