Check your login credentials
As of 23rd October, you will need to have your username and password available in order to log into CABAS, CAB Plan and our CAB’s other vehicle repair-related systems. At that point, we will be introducing a new login technology. The system will not remember your previously entered login details. You will need to enter them manually when logging in for the first time after 23rd October.
We are also introducing a new technology for embedding the login in the CAB Service Platform. This will provide a more seamless and secure login experience, where you will not need to switch between CABAS/CAB Plan and the browser. In order for this to work, you need to have Microsoft Edge WebView2 installed on your computer.
Important!
WebView2 will be a mandatory system requirement in the spring of 2022. We will get back to you with the exact date later. The current web login will be available until then.
You need to do this before 23 October
- Look up your username and password.
Pdf, 177.8 kB. If you do not have access to your password, you can order a new one by clicking on “Forgotten password or username” when logging in. Please note that this also applies to Multi users in CAB Plan.
- Please install WebView2 Evergreen Standalone Installer

Why is CAB doing this?
The change is happening as the operation of our central login system (CaaS) is moved to Microsoft’s cloud service, Azure. In order to live up to the demands that our customers place on our products, we need to take advantage of the functionality Azure it offers.
In addition to a more seamless login experience, the introduction of WebView2 will provide opportunities to introduce new technologies in CABAS and CAB Plan. This will make it easier for us to improve the user experience for you as a customer through future updates.
CAB and your data
Information security is CAB’s top priority. The change we are now implementing involves the transfer and management of login details (username and password in encrypted form) to Microsoft’s cloud service, Azure. We take your privacy very seriously, and the goal of this change is to enable us to protect your data even better. We are ISO/IEC 27001 certified, and we are constantly working to ensure stability and security in our systems.

Are you using Citrix?
Organisations running CABAS via Citrix need to adapt their configuration to exclude WebView2 from what are known as “Citrix hooks”. For more information, visit Citrix https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX107825 Länk till annan webbplats.
Supported browsers
In order for the login to work, we recommend the Chrome or Edge browsers. Internet Explorer 11 will work for the time being, but since Microsoft gradually stopped supporting it from 20 November 2020 we are advising against its use.
