Secure digital care

BDC Care ensures that data that is sent between servers is encrypted and remains private.
This means:

- Authentication is required in order to confirm identity
- Encryption of the communication to prevent unauthorised parties from accessing the information
- GDPR and PDL regulate data storage
- BDC Care is CE marked as a technical medical approved product

Different businesses have different needs. As a result, there are several authentication methods for care providers. These are:

- BankID
- SITHS
- Single-use code via text message

The patient is authenticated via BankID or a single-use code via text message in those cases where this is determined by the care provider.

BDC Care is directly integrated with Kuralink, which is a safe and secure platform in accordance with GDPR and PDL.

Functional cookies

Some cookies are necessary to facilitate various functions on the website. These cookies are required in order for our website to work, and they cannot be switched off in our systems. Third party cookies

No third-party cookies are currently used.

Third party cookies are set by a party other than the one that is responsible for the website, in this case therefore by a company other than CAB. The purpose of these cookies is to track how visitors move between different websites. These cookies gather information about your activities and interests on our website, and are used by our partners to show you tailored advertisements about our products when you are visiting other websites.

In order to understand and analyse how visitors use our website, we use the tool Google Analytics. The information generated by Google Analytics cookies is stored on servers at Google, and your IP address is truncated. We use these cookies to better understand how the website is being used so that we can improve it. The information is also used for marketing purposes. Google can transfer the saved information to a third party if this is required by law or in those cases where a third party processes the information on Google’s behalf.

We also use the Facebook pixel in order to measure advertisement conversions and use remarketing for advertisements on Facebook.
