Fredrik Lidman was born in 1974 and most recently served as acting Managing Director P&C insurance at Länsförsäkringar AB. Since 2024, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of CAB Group. Fredrik has a long background within the Länsförsäkringar organization, where he has held several development-oriented leadership roles, including CIO, CTO, and Chief Architect. He holds a bachelor’s degree in systems science from Umeå University and previously worked as an IT consultant before joining Länsförsäkringar.

Peter Afzelius will step down from his position at CAB Group on May 31, 2026, and will continue to serve as CEO until then. Fredrik Lidman is expected to assume his new role as CEO in June 2026.
